A MINIATURE version of Beswick Water Mill helped pupils at Lockington CE Primary School to learn more about the traditional work of the miller, at a workshop linked with Beverley's medieval town trail.
Model builder Bob Reeves took the tiny working model along to the school, where local historian Berna Moody told the children more about the history of medieval mills and millers.

The children also learned from Chris Wormald, sculptor and designer for the Beverley Medieval Guilds and Crafts Town Trail, how their ideas could be incorporated into the 39 street art works which will form the town trail, stretching from North Bar to Beckside..
